I went a whole week with being honest and transparent. It went great i learned that is not really easy to be honest ,but it is really easy to not be honest. Also being transparent is not as easy as i thought it would be ,but I've been learning to try to be and to remember to be. My new objective for next week is to be a team player ,so i will be doing that for a whole week and i will update you on how it went. I got my next step from cool article.

I went a whole week with just being myself " the real me" and it was great. I even made some new friends and learned some things about myself I didn't even know. My next step is to be honest and transparent ,so I will be doing that for a whole week and I will update you on how it goes.
 20% Time Project Proposal

Name: Arnazia Brumfield

Project Title: 20%

Project Start Date: November 7, 2014

Project Completion Date: May 15, 2014

Mentor’s Name: Mrs. Browning

Brief Description: I’m doing a project in Language called 20% time and I’m learning on how to be a better leader.

Overview of Project Proposal

1) Project Objective:

For my 20% time I want to learn how to be a better leader. I will be researching some leaders or leadership type of websites and see if they can give some good advice on how to be a great leader. The outcome of this project is for me to learn how to become a great leader.

2) Project Rationale:

I’m doing this project because I want to learn how to become a better leader. The job that I want to have in the future involves being a leader. People also look up to leaders and I would like for people to look up to me and for me to be able to help people and inspire them.

3) Project Steps:

Every week I look on this website that has steps and tips on how to be a better leader and each week I follow a step like my first step was to become a better listener, so for a whole week I just listened. Then the next week I have to do something else.

4) Timeline of Activities:

First I’m going to have to look up what I need to get better at or learn how to do, so I can become a better leader. Then I have to plan out what day I’m going to start a new step and try to remember which one I’m suppose to do. After that week I will blog how I did that week, what I learned, how I can do it better, and my next step for the next week.

5) Available Human and Material Resources:

One day while I’m working on this project I will have a meeting with one of my principals and ask them how did they get to the position they are in, if they can give me any tips, how did/do they show leadership, and what is the most important thing to them that a leader can do or show. I also will be reading some books about leaders that my teacher has offered me. I will be using the internet most of the time to be looking for my next step and to post a blog about it.

6) Possible Road Blocks:

Sometimes I may forget what my step is of the week and not be able to blog about it till the next week. The internet maybe down sometimes. I might run out of steps or I might forget to have a blog for that week. I might lose interest in my subject.

7) Research Questions:

Should I use the same website to get my facts from or should I use one site till it runs out of facts and then use a different one? What day should I start to do the fact like on a Monday or Friday? How long should I do it for a week or two?
